My first book was written during 31 years. During the 4 years from February 2011, until the summer of 2015, I went through a fast and deep development with many realizations; both spiritually, energetically, religiously and professionally.
Thus, in the summer of 2015 I understood that my book on alternative medicine needed an update, a revision. All the above mentioned understandings had dawned on my mind and spirit. I felt that I had so much new to tell the world. I realized how much work it would take to update my 750 pages book, and did not look forward to that immense work. The inspiration to write a new book came to me on awakening on the 3rd of September 2015, 5 o'clock in the morning in Germany, after travelling to the old mystery places in Ireland and meeting a spiritual person that freed me from old thoughts. I suddenly understood that it was better to write a new book on spiritual medicine, rather than update the old one. I am happy here to be able to present the result of that inspiration.

Poplar: A story about communication with Nature

This is a very personal book about how to develop through the connection to Nature, through conversation to trees.
So there I was, a so-called natural therapist in a small town far up north, on the outskirts of an endless sea.
I had just turned 30 years old, having made a living as a natural therapist and veterinarian for some years...
...Some redcurrant bushes and some low, crooked beech trees, something in between downy birch and dwarf birch, grew in this small and windy garden. The climate did not take good care of such plants in the north.
Then there was a poplar tree.
It was low, flimsy and windswept...
...By counting the number of stamen and other specific characteristics, I came to the result that the individual in front of me must be the northernmost growing male Silver Poplar one could find. Probably once planted by a homesick Italian.
After this, I took extra good care of this poor wretched freezing individual of a tree.
I longed for home myself, to a friendlier place more south.
Summer passed and autumn came.
I had moved south, to another small town at the outskirts of the sea, but this ocean was not endless and the surroundings were friendlier.
With me, in my moving load was the Silver Poplar.
My medical practice was still the same. Only that my percentage of healing rose from 40% to way over 60%. I contemplated on this. I had learnt more, had more practice. Was this the reason for the increase?
However, I still did the same things. I stuck the same needles in the same acupuncture points and I prescribed the same homeopathic medicines and herbs
One day I went out in the garden and looked at the little tree I had saved from the northern borderless regions, where the wind takes the ocean in, over the roofs.
I stood there for a while. The little tree that once was bent from the eternal winds blowing in from the sea, had begun to rise up. It had begun to grow larger and stronger and its silver color, which before was as cold as silver itself, had now gained a warm shimmer, like the downside of a raspberry-leaf.

In 1993 and 2011, after being imprisoned by the dark forces for 10 years, L intervened and set the seeker free. He was then free to work further on his karma and the destiny that involved many people in a deep and long-lasting imprisonment by these forces. During the travel something unusual happened. The flames were high, fierce, and it seemed that the fire was out of control. He stopped the car at a small passing-place on the right side of the road, rolled down the window and looked out. Again something unexpected happened. The flames shot up in the air, changed direction and came directly towards the car. They entered through the open window and made a spiraling movement around him, encircling his head and upper body. He was not burned, nor did he feel any discomfort, he only felt a strange feeling of being invaded by something. He was immediately transported to another realm of existence. This book is about this experience and what it led to.

According to classic Chinese Medicine, as cited in "Classic of Difficulties" and "Compilation of Acupunture and Moxibustion" by Liao Run-Hong of the Qing Dynasty, the elemental relations of the command points are as follows:
- Jing-Well points (Ting points, situated at the coronary band) is indicated in Liver problems in all meridians. Usually, as in modern teaching, in Yin meridians this point is realated to Wood, and in Yang meridians to Metal.
- Ying-Spring points (just under the fetlock) are indicated in Heart problems in all meridians. Usually in Yin meridians this point is related to Fire, and in Yang meridians to Water.
- Shu-Stream points (just proximal to the fetlock) are indicated in Spleen problems in all meridians. Usually in Yin meridians this point is related to Earth, and in Yang meridians to Wood.
- Jing-River points (just distal to the Carpus/Hock) are indicated in Lung problems in all meridians. Usually in Yin meridians this point is related to Metal, in Yang meridians to Wood.
- He-Sea points (just proximal to the Carpus/Hock) are indicated in Kidney problems. Usually in Yin meridians this point is related to Water, in Yang meridians to Fire.
The old system correlates perfectly with my opinion. I suspect the change of the Ting points in Yang meridians to Metal is due to the fact that most modern, contemporary treatments in Acupuncture are based on draining of excesses (pain) in the Yang meridians, and as pain is related to the Metal element, the most draining point is related to the metal element. But when dealing with deficiencies, as I do, the symptoms treated by the Ting Point relate to the Wood element in all meridians. As will be seen in the text, I have not yet mapped out all the equine points, but my work continues.

Are Simeon Thoresen, the author of this book, dedicated it to all who seek to heal. It aims to introduce veterinary, medical and paramedical professionals as well as lay-people to holistic concepts of diagnosis and therapy. Though not intended as a "vade mecum" to allow owners to diagnose animal disease without veterinary help, it also aims to help owners understand and use holistic therapies in their animals in co-operation with their vets. In his introduction, Are cited the prayer for animals by Albert Schweitzer. I will also start this Preface with a prayer that summarises the core of the book:

The Eight Mai (Extraordinary Vessels)
As well as th 12 Jing (Main Channels) and the 15 Luo (Connecting Vessels) there are Internal Channels (connecting to the related organs), Minor Channels, Tendinomuscular Channels and the 8 Mai (Extraordinary Vessels). The JingLuoMai function together to connect and keep Qi flowing in the 12 Jing, their related Zangfu (internal organs) and special parts and functions of the body. They connect the upper parts with the lower parts, the inner with the outer, the anterior with the posterior and the left side with the right side.
The 8 Mai (the so-called Extraordinary Vessels) are most important, but just 2 of the have their own points. The othe 6 Mai borrow points from the Main Channels.
Dumai (Governing Vessel) and Renmai (Conception Vessel, CV) are the two Mai that have their own points. It is important to familiarise oneself with these Vessels. They travel along the midline of the body in humans, horses and dogs.
GV Governing Vessel (Dumai) begins in the perineum at GV01, between the anus and the coccyx in humans. It ascends over the spine, in the dorsal midline, to GV03 (L4-L5 space), to GV04 (L2-L3 space), to GV09 (T7-T8 space), to GV14 (C7-T1 space). It ascends the neck and occiput to the highest point of the head (GV20) and the runs anteriorly to the nasal philtrum (GV26). Ancient tradition in India taught that Dumai ends in the palate and that Renmai begins on the tip of the tongue. This was very important in the Indian system of meditation. To link these two Channels, adepts place the tip of the tongue up to the palate when they meditaed.

Manhy people will be upset by the three words - Demons, Spiritual and Christology - in the title of this book. These words will cause many others to question the sanity of the author, Are Simeon Thoresen.
Psychic ability − the Sixth Sense − is a primitive sense inherent in all living beings. It's basic purpose in animals and people is to aid survival, viz to sense danger, find water, food, shelter, missing young etc. Because urbanized people have lost touch with nature to a great extent, their physic sense has atrophied through lack of use. But it is still there and can be cultivated / rekindled by proper training.
Genius is a rare commodity that few of us attain. I see the color-magic painted by Van Gogh, hear the music-magic of Beethoven, imagine touching the exquisite bronze of Rodin's Thinker. I revere their work but know that i can never create such beauty. So it is with Are's psychic skills.
Are has been a friend for more than 20 years. My initial impressions were that he was either a con-man, or mentally deluded, living in a world of make-believe. However, having spent time with him, seeing him work, talking to some of his human patients and animal owners and reading his papers and books on healing, I now see him as a man of many talents, a veterinary colleague, acupuncturist, homeopath naturopath, psychic, Seer, gifted healer and seeker-of-truth.
Stress is at record levels today. Rates of marriage breakup, antisocial behaviour, mental disorders, psychoactive medication, drug addiction, alcoholism, criminality, self-harm and suicide are very high. Could this be because many people do not belive in a Supreme God, the Great Healer and Creator of all that exists? Could this be because they deny the possibility of evil discarnate Spirits invading their body-mind-Spirit?
Non-believers deny the reality of an afterlife, viz that the human soul / Spirit are immortal. They may accept that Jesus Christ was a great teacher but deny that he was the God-Essence in human form. They do not believe in Angels and Demons. Such people are unlikely to read this book. That will be their loss, for there is much to learn about themselves and their physical, mental and Spiritual health within these pages.
We all have our individual strengths and weaknesses. We all harbour Dark Passengers to some extent. Few will master Are's ability to See / sense the Spirit World as he does. But if you are a thinker and seeker-of-truth, I urge you to read this book and try his methods. Some of them may work for you. If you have serious health issues, especially mental / Spiritual issues, put your trust in the infinite love of the Creator / Great Healer / Christ-Essence. Believe that those Almighty Powers can release your Demons.
